100 Greatest Muslim Rulers
Although the history of Islam is full of the great Mujahid(S), today we will mention only a few of them the names of the greatest Muslims ever, since the time of the last Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam. After the Prophet of Islam, he chose his successor, Hazrat Abu Bakr, after which the first great caliphate of Islam.The Rashidun Caliphate, began, followed by the period of Banu Umayya, then the Abbasid Caliphate and finally the Great Ottoman Caliphate was established. The period of The Caliphates and Caliphs is called the golden period of Islam. If we talk about the Ottoman caliphate, first of all, the foundation of the Ottoman princely state was laid by the youngest and third son of Hazrat Ertugrul Ghazi Rahmatullah Alaih, Hz. Osman Ghazi Rahmatullah Alayh.
Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih Khan Rahmatullah Alayh converted this princely state into a great empire of the Ottomans with the conquest of Constantinople (Present, Istanbul) in the middle of the 15th century then his grandson Sultan Selim I converted this sultanate into a Great caliphate with the title of Amir ul Muaminin. The first Caliph of Islam was Hazrat Abu Baqr R.A. and the last Caliph was sultan Abdul Majid II.
